Estepa Virgin is an expert selection of the Picual variety of olives grown in the Andalusia region of Spain. The olives are harvested very early, when the olive is turning color (from green to purple), resulting in an outstanding extra virgin olive oil with an intense aroma of freshly cut grass and green fruits. The earthy, peppery, and slightly bitter nuances of this complex Spanish Super Premium EVOO are beautifully well balanced and rich.
We highly recommend using this robust EVOO on grilled meat, fish, vegetables, pastas, and grains. It also adds richness and body to soups, stews, and sauces.
It pairs very well with all of our vinegars, but its rich flavor comes through when combined with our Traditional 18 Year dark balsamic or our barrel aged wine vinegars.
