Aji Verde Agrumato Green Chili Salsa

  • 1 Can 1000g Whole Italian Tomatoes

  • 3 Large Tomato’s (Fresh for charring)

  • 1 Large Red Onion

  • 3 Medium Size Jalapeno’s (Keep seeds for a kick!)

  • ½ Cup Fine Chopped Cilantro

  • 3 Medium Size Limes

  • Kosher Salt

  • Black Cracked Pepper

  • 1 Tablespoon Aji Verde Agrumato Green Chili Oil.


First prepare all of ingredients that need to be chopped down and set aside. (Onion, Jalapeno, Cilantro) Once this step is complete you begin with charring the outside of the tomato whole. The more char on the tomato the savorier flavor for the salsa. To Char your Tomato simple turn on your grill or take open flame to it (Candle Lights not suitable) Set to the side to cool down. Next open the can of tomato’s taking the whole tomato’s out and chopping them to a medium dice. Next add the char tomato’s once they have cooled down. Sometimes they may be difficult to cut in uniform, simple do your best. Next add chopped onion, jalapeno and cilantro mixture. Squeeze your limes into the salad and mix with fork and taste. Make sure it has a balance of heat and savory, Add Jalapeno seeds if not spicy enough. Drizzle 1 Tablespoon of Aji Verde Agrumato oil and add salt and pepper to season normally 1 tablespoon salt 1 teaspoon of cracked black pepper. Chill for 2 hours for best flavor!
