Join Chef Michael for a new addition to the Pasta Library!
Spaghetti alla chitarra, also known as maccheroni alla chitarra, is a variety of egg pasta typical of Abruzzo, Italy. Tonnarelli are a similar pasta from Lazio. They have a square cross section about 2–3 mm thick. Ciriole is the thicker version of chitarra, approximately double the thickness of spaghetti.
Each student will make a portion of pasta and roll it out by hand. Afterwards we will use a special tool called a Chitarra which is a board with guitar strings. Each Student will then prepare the pasta and combine fresh made pesto with shrimp and brazilian nuts.
The cost of this class is $30 and will be limited to 9 seats.
